The works of Reginald Baylor
Posted by Public Affairs under: Fine Arts; Outreach .
The latest exhibit at the Schlueter Art Gallery opened Friday night. Reginald Baylor’s Figuratively Speaking runs through July 24. Baylor, a Milwaukee native, transforms people, landscapes, neighborhood houses, and city buildings into compositions of basic geometric shapes.
Baylor explained his technique to those attending the reception at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
The exhibit is sponsored in part by Pathways to College. Here Kelly Gilbertson, assistant director of Pathways to College, looked at artwork with a Pathways student.
