2011 Midwest Tour &Concerts Mike | 14 Mar 2011
On our way

Day two on our tour took us from my home town of Black River Falls (and a great breakfast; thanks mom) to Onalaska. However, before we left, I think most choir members had an experience that a lot of “traditional” (for lack of a better word) WELS members don’t get: a mission congregation worship setting. Faith Lutheran worships at a local high school library. It was interesting seeing 140 people in a setting that normal holds 60-70.
After that, we headed off to Onalaska and had some early down time on tour. The concert itself went really well, due in part to the extremely live space of the sanctuary. The pre-concert meal also didn’t disappoint, as it is with all of our stops along the way.
Hope to see you at one of our stops along the way!
